Frolka, T. Sources of profitability of selected banks in Czech sector. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. The bachelor thesis deals with sources of profitability of selected banks in the Czech banking sector. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of balance sheets items and profit and loss account. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on indicators of profitability and revenue and cost margins. There are presented equations for calculation of these indicators of profitability and margins. There is also analysis of foreign studies dealing with the issue of profitability of banks in the theoretical part and there are defined major determinants of profitability of banks. The practical part describes the financial structure and the main income and expense items of selected sample of banks. Further practical part contains analysis of the selected sample of banks using the indicators of profitability and selected margins.

Subject of this bachelor thesis is evalution of VOD Plavsko financial health in years 2011-2015. In a theoretical part, financial analysis tools as well as bankruptcy and credibility models suitable for use in branch which the company is located in will be described. Research will be done in a pracitcal part. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate financial health of VOD Plavsko in years 2011-2015 and to recommend solution to remove potenital problems.

Thesis "Financial analysis firm Hotel, Ltd." is aimed at assessing the financial situation of the company for the period 2012-2015 on the basis of basic information about the company and the data from the financial statements. In this work are used basic financial analysis methods such as analysis of absolute, differential and ratios. At the end of the practical part are then applied a comprehensive evaluation methods aimed at using one number to comprehensively to characterize the financial situation of the company. The aim of this work is to describe the resulting value analysis, to assess the development results achieved over time and compare them with average values in the industry.

Assessment of Financial Statements and the Closing of Books in a Chosen Company

The diploma thesis deals with the process of book closing and financial statements applied in particular accounting entity.
The thesis is divided into three parts. The first of them defines basic information regarding financial statements and it describes in detail each single step in the process of financial statements.
The main part of thesis is dedicated to the preparation of financial statements, analysis of all the steps and following compilation of compulsory financial statements in the particular stock corporation that is famous in brewing industry.
The last part deals with evaluation of all the steps during the processing financial statements in the particular company and also with total evaluation of financial statements with suggestions and recommendations for improving the process of financial statements.

The objective of this Bachelor thesis, which is entitled Financial analysis of chosen enterprise, is finding the financial situation of the company KOVO KASEJOVICE MONT s. r. o. from 2011 to 2014. The emphasis is placed on the analysis of the financial health because of basic methods of financial analysis.
This thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on describing the company as a whole, financial analysis and accounting statements. This part presents also the methods and indicators of financial analysis.
In the practical part, there is the chosen enterprise KOVO MONT KASEJOVICE s. r. o. This part is devoted to the analysis of absolute indicators, methods ratios
of profitability, activity, insolvency and liquidity, as well as creditworthy and bankruptcy models based on corporate accounting data. In the end of my thesis are summarizes the results of the financial analysis and evaluation of the overall situation.

Financial analysis of selected enterprises

The thesis deals with the financial analysis of two leading companies of the energy industry, E.ON Distribution, Inc. and PRE Distribution, Inc. The work is divided into two main parts. The first of these, literature review, discusses the company's performance in terms of financial analysis. In addition it provides basic information about financial analysis, their resources, techniques and methods. The second part, their work is focused on the characteristics of selected companies, as well as the application of knowledge from the literature review to selected companies using financial analysis methods in the years 2011-2015. Financial analysis is based on currently available published financial statements of both companies, mainly from the balance sheet and profit and loss account. On the financial statements of the company is applied to the analysis of absolute indicators, namely vertical and horizontal analysis, differential indicators, which is a typical representative of net working capital, to analyze liquidity, profitability, debt and bankruptcy activities and calculations standing model. At the end thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the company, along with a view of the financial situation in the future.

The diploma thesis evaluates the financial statements of a particular business establishment according to the Czech legislation. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis explores Czech and foreign information sources which are necessary for the preparation of the practical part of the work. The legislation related to the financial statements and accounting are specified there. There are also described various steps that are indispensable for the financial statements preparation. The practical part of the work evaluates the financial statements in a specific business establishment and shows problematic parts in particular preparation steps of the financial statements and proposes improvements of this procedure.

The thesis concerns with the process of creation of the financial statement and book closing conforming to the legal code of the Czech Republic. Theoretical part deals mainly with the explanation of terms that are closely related to preparatory works which are necessary for creation of financial statement. Preparatory works are prior to closing the accounting period. In addition to that, theoretical part also includes book closing and the description of financial statements which constitute it. These financial statements are Balance sheet, Income statement and Attachments. Several sources of specialized technical literature are used and quoted in this part of the thesis. Theoretical part is followed by practical part in which the process of the book closing and financial statement of selected company is analysed. This analysis is subsequently compared with theoretical foundations. The last part of the thesis evaluates the process of the financial statement of selected company and offers certain improvements.

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation of the company AMMANN Czech Republic, a. s. in the years 2010 to 2014 using selected indicators of the financial analysis. This thesis is divided into two parts, the first part provides of the theoretical background, introducing the basic concepts, history, users, data sources and individual indicators, their formulas and explanation. In the second part of the thesis is selected company characterized and selected indicators of financial analysis practically applied. Lastly there is an evaluation of the company´s financial situation which is based on the results of the financial analysis.
